The Game Changers Review - #NYAPlantBasedDiet

3 mindless scrolling days later...

January 4th, 2020 I made the decision to ahead and watch the documentary, The Game Changers, on Netflix. It features Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrik Baboumian, and Morgan Mitchell for starters. It also has many nutritionist, researchers and other athletes. So I'm going to get right to the main details that alerted me...

- The early humans, based on bone structure, had diets that were heavily plant-based.

- The gladiators had plant based diets.

- The effects of eating plant based foods are almost immediate.

- The weight-loss results after the fire fighters switched their diets as well as the changes in blood pressure was astonishing!

- Patrik Baboumian, he's a healthier and stronger performer since switching to a plant based diet.

- The fitness legend himself, The Terminator!, has a plant based diet as well. That in its self speaks volumes!

...In conclusion, on January 5th, 2020, I began my plant based lifestyle. I won't even say diet, but maybe I should. I'm not cutting animal based products out my life all together but just food wise I am... except for my cheese and ice cream... which is where my struggle will be.

I am not lacking in any energy or strength. I have dropped some weight, but it must be some bad weight that I have gotten rid of because I feel good so far. #NYAPlantBasedDiet #NYAFitness #NotYourAverageFitness

I think this is an interesting topic and will check out the documentary myself after reading your post. I have family members that have made the switch and swear by the changes the diet has produced in their lives. I have had ups and downs on the scale but always feel more accomplished when I weigh less but do not lose any strength, while gaining speed and endurance. I would also struggle completely switching over in an instant, like you said. Interested to hear the results!
