To calculate your 1 rep max... pick a weight (something moderate to heavy) and knock out as many reps as you can. Typically, you want to pick a weight that you meet muscle failure between 3-10 reps.
R= Reps
W= Weight
W x (36 / (37 - R)) = 1 Rep Max
Example
I can push 225 for 6 reps.
37-6 = 31
36/31 = 1.16
1.16 * 225 = 261lbs
This would make my 1 rep max, around 260 lbs give or take. Try it out and let me know what your 1 rep max is below.
