#ITmePlease So back in August I enrolled at a local San Diego IT specific college by the name California Institute of Arts and Technology. One of my previous coworkers informed me about it. He told me it was veteran friendly, G.I. Bill friendly #IfYouKnowYouKnow, full-time worker friendly and I.T. certification friendly. That checked off all my blocks for sure. When I finally enrolled, the one detail I was dreading all the way to this moment now, in my second week of January, was sitting in an English class. I didn't dread the class because I am a horrible writer or because I don't like writing. I dread the class because I have never been a supporter of sitting in an English class period. After sitting in an English class for 7 years, from 6th grade to 12th grade, how much more English is there to learn. Well lets find out on this peacefully, traffic jammed Wednesday evening of the first full week of January.
Yes I dreaded this class but I will also beast it... #ITmePlease

I agree with your viewpoint on English classes as an adult. I feel we can read it, write it, and speak it what more do you need? But I also have dreaded sitting in the class after finishing all my other electives. Hopefully the course helps develop strong communication skills to push you towards your goals,
